Volume of sand in one truck in CFT ?

There is some points for care while measuring sand quantity in truck in cft 

1) when truck have come at construction site filled with sand or aggregate. Very irregular elevation of sand have seen at the top of loaded truck, first you should leveling this irregular elevation of sand in plane face having uniform distribution of their height.

2) taking the approx. 10 feet of a small piece of 16mm Steel bar is used for measure height of loaded truck by applying strokes upto inner depth of loaded truck evenly at 4 or 5 point ,and marked it. measuring height with the help of measuring tape, be careful while measuring their height of loaded trucks because a smaller mistakes, you will get wrong calculation and estimate to find quantity of sand in cft of loaded truck.

How to Measure Sand in Truck in CFT ?

Sand measurement in truck & how to calculate sand in truck in cft and to start the calculation initially the length width and height of the loaded trucks should be known. Sand quantity in truck in cft calculation is made in two ways

1) when the values are provided in feet only and have no inches value:

Q1) we do the calculation for first point , when loaded truck with sand or aggregate have come at construction site then we should measure length width and height from inner side of their truck body, please be careful taking the measurement and do not take the measurement from outside their body. Length of inner edge of truck body = 15 feet

Width of inner edge of truck = 6 feet

Height of loaded truck = 5 feet

It is note that this is not standard size of truck value in foot is taken just for example for calculation of quantity of sand in cft

Volume of sand = l × b × h

Volume of sand = 15′ × 6′ × 5′

Volume of sand = 450 cubic feet

450 cubic feet of sand quantity loaded in in one truck of medium size

Ans. :- The value of sand quantity in truck in CFT is about 450.

Now, The question is what is volume of sand in one truck?

Ans. :- if  length, width and height of  inner edge of sand loaded truck is 15′ × 6′ × 5′ respectively, then volume of sand in one truck is calculated by multiplying all inner edge dimension of truck (15′ × 6′ × 5′) is 450 cft, so 450 cft is volume of sand in one truck.

1 cft sand to kg measurement we have require density of sand and how do you convert 1 cft sand to kg? Sand Measurement Formula

Density or Unit Weight of sand in kg very from 1520 – 1680 kg /m3 ,

We take average density =1631 kg/m3

It means 1m3 sand have weight = 1631 kg

1m3 of sand =35.32 cft thus How Many Cubic Feet Sand in one Truck

35.42 cft = 1631 kg of sand

So 1 cft = 1631/35.32 = 46 kg

So 450 cft = 46×450 =20700 kg Sand Measurement Formula

The question is what is 1 cft sand weight in Kg?

Ans.:- weight of 1 cft sand is 46 kg, Actually loaded truck is 450 cft,

then weight of sand in one truck is equal to 450 ×46 = 20700 kg = 20.7 tons.

Ans. :- The value of sand quantity in loaded truck in CFT is 450 ( 20.7 MT) medium size.

2) when the measuring value of loaded truck given in both Feet and inches:

Length of inner edge of truck body = 18 feet and 2 inch

Width of inner edge of truck = 4 feet and 5 inch

Height of loaded truck = 6 feet and 3 inch

It is note that this is not standard size of truck value in foot is taken just for example for calculation of quantity of sand in cft. How Many Cubic Feet Sand in one Truck

Sand measurement in truck:

Sand measurement in truck is just multiplying all dimension of truck lorry length with and height = inner length × inner width × height.

Volume of sand = l × b × h

Volume of sand = 18′ 2″× 4’5″ × 6’3″

We convert inch into feet by dividing with 12 because 1 foot = 12 inches

2 inch = 2/12 = 0.166

5 inch = 5/12 = 0.416

3 inch = 3/12 =0.25 put all this value

Volume of sand = 18.166′ ×4.416′ ×6.25′

Volume of sand = 501.382 cubic feet

The value of sand quantity is 501.382 cft in loaded truck

Density or Unit Weight of sand in kg very from 1520 – 1680 kg /m3 ,

We take average density =1631 kg/m3

It means 1m3 sand have weight = 1631 kg

1m3 of sand =35.32 cft thus

35.42 cft = 1631 kg of sand How Many Cubic Feet Sand in one Truck

So 1 cft = 1631/35.32 = 46 kg

So 501.382 cft = 46×501.382 =23063.57 kg

So weight of 501.382 cft sand =23.06357 tons.

Sand quantity in loaded truck in CFT is 501 ( 23 MT).

Tractor trolley size in Pakistan:– tractor trolley size in Pakistan is comprise of 12 feet length, 2 feet height and 6 feet width such that 12′ × 2′ × 6′ of 144 cubic feet.

Tractor trolley of different brand have different size and tractor trolley are used for transportation of agriculture product and types of work in civil engineering for transporting raw material like cement, sand, steel and aggregate and other types of work.

1 tractor capacity: standard tractor trolley size is 100 CFT, around 25cft = 1 ton, so capacity of one tractor trolley is 4 ton of material or 100cft.

1 tractor sand weight:- standard tractor trolley size is 100 CFT, around 25cft = 1 ton sand, so 1 tractor sand weight is around 4000kgs or 4 ton.

1 tipper sand capacity:– there is different size of tipper like 5cum, 8cum, 10cum, 12cum are available in market which are used for transporting of sand. There is no standard like this, As size/volume can be vary of different Tripper. For measuring 1 tipper sand capacity You will have to calculate the volume of the Tripper, length x width x height, then you can calculate the total volume of the sand.

1 tipper sand capacity in ton:- size of tipper vary from 180cft to 425cft, around 25cft = 1 ton, so 1 tipper sand capacity ranging between 7.5 ton to 17 ton.
